The Ultimate Hardcore Experience

So Brian Davison and I, just on a whim, decided on Thursday that we would go to a Haste The Day concert on Saturday in Nashville. Boy am I glad I did...

We got to The Anchor at about 6:30, waiting for the doors to open at 7. Our anticipation continued to mount as we waited for Jimmy and his crew (Haste The Day - ditto!) to perform. Bedlight For Blue Eyes, Scary Kids Scaring Kids and Halifax all put on fairly good shows, but man oh man let me tell you about Haste The Day.

For any Hardcore/Screamo fans out there, Haste The Day (HTD) is the best band in my opinion, out there. Not only are they christian, but they deliver a positive message in their songs and lyrics (Sorry older people, you may need to read the lyrics since you can't understand the screaming - much love). Their show only lasted about an hour, to my sadness. However, it was probably the highlight of my weekend (after going to California for Thanksgiving how can you complain?)
